CRA Get Together

CRA had its ninth get together on 12^th January 2012 at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. We would like to   extend our profound thanks to our member, La Coupole Restaurant, Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra for sponsoring the gathering. During this meeting we had the vote count on Internal Regulations of CRA and an open discussion. As point 1.1 needs to be properly addressed, a further review will be required. 

Nyemo NGO and SNV seek advice from CRA    

On 05^th January 2012, Mr. Geert Vanbaelen met representative from Nyemo and SNV at  Brown Café. They request for advice on the High Impacts Tourism Training for Jobs and Income (HITT). They would like to conduct training based on the needs and priorities in the tourism market.

Letter of support on Academy of Culinary Arts

Mr. Edwin Bucher from Shift 360 Foundation requested our association to support the efforts made by The Shift360 Foundation in collaboration with the State Hotel Management School in Bellinzona, Switzerland, the Temasek Polytechnic of Singapore, and the Cambodia Ministry of Tourism to establish the Academy of Culinary Arts. He also attended our gathering to introduce the academy to our members.  

Preliminary Discussion Meeting on Asean-EU Business Forum and EU Trade Commissioner

On 05^th January 2012, Admin Executive was assigned to attend the meeting on Asean-EU Business Forum & Dialogue with Asean Economic Minister and EU Trade Commissioner at the Ministry of Commerce. Cambodia will organize it on 1^st April in Phnom Penh during the 20^th Asean Summit in April 2012.          

Meeting with Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Cambodia Chapter

On 20^th January 2012, Madam President met Ms Sok Sophea, Secretary General of PATA Cambodia Chapter at Cambodia Country Club, to discuss the possibilities of mutual cooperation benefiting both association members and also on how to improve the tourism industry of Cambodia.

CEO FORUM

Mr. Nicolas Leflon, General Manager of Cambodian Country Club (CCC) was invited to talk about his establishment on the program “CEO forum” Many questions were raised including education & working experience, company background, services provided to customers, current business situation, success key factor, achievements and so forth.

Collaboration with AsiaLIFE Magazine

We thank AsiaLIFE for the free two columns. This program started from April 2011. The February issue features Hagar Catering and Kwest Brasserie-bar.

Collaboration With Cambodia Tourism Magazine (CTM)

We thank Cambodia Tourism Magazine for posting our  members article for free. This program started from November 2011. The January issue features qb and Three Corner Coffee.
